Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She anchors SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual since the age of nine years old, a valuable skill that helped her secure her first job as a production assistant for Univision in Miami that allowed her to be a part of the production team for national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as a reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. After 2009, the news reporter moved into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drugs and immigration issues across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she served as an anchor on the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5 pm. She was a news reporter in English until 9pm, the news anchor was on until 10pm before returning back to channel Spanish channel. She would also fill in at times as a news and sports anchor. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and anchored it. The show was made a anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. In addition, she served as anchor of the sports segment on Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They moved at some point towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. The family moved from Mexico to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. In the course of a few months, her father divorced from her mother and she later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, the young Collins had taken a position along with her sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school but she had a clear idea of the path she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right for her, Antonietta visited the school. Then she was enthralled with the campus. They also offered her a the opportunity to study a major. Following the completion of her high school education, she attended the university to study media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the manager for WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. His passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities encouraged her. She in turn was determined to achieve his expectations and never fail him.
